Jones may have just opened himself up to defamation/slander charges in the Comet Ping-Pong case, too. He “apologized” right before the deadline to do so under Texas’ defamation laws and claimed he had been misinformed, but if he’s forced to admit under oath that he knew there was high likelihood of this being bullshit

Read “Elephant in the Room” by Jon Ronson. It’s a longform article in kindle single form that may still be free. I never realized Ronson of all people had an inadvertent hand in making Alex Jones famous, but it’s a fascinating look at how the guy works and what his connections to Trump come from.

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them.” —Maya Angelou

Couldn’t any gangbanger make the same claim? “The murderous, terrifying persona I use on the streets is all an act, it couldn’t be further from my true nature or my personality. I am a loving teddybear on my own time, but my day job representing MS-13 is performance art, and ‘Trigger Mike’ is just a character I play.”

I used to buy into the idea that Howard Stern was “just a character,” and believed all that Private Parts bullshit about what a good family man he was, how much he loved his wife. And then he left her for a younger, hotter model.

I really love the level of concern-trolling required to believe a woman’s uterus would just drop straight out of her body if she ran too much.

In the middle of the race, Semple tried to shove Switzer and physically pull her out. “He was pulling at me and screaming, ‘Get the hell out of my race and give me that number,’” Switzer told Deadspin in 2015. “Arnie was screaming at Jock, and then Tom smashed Jock out of the way.”

Not everyone. Murray is and has been in the pockets of several large businesses (Comcast, in particular) and was instrumental in shoving through the tunnel nobody wanted. He gets painted as a good guy because he doesn’t hate gay people, which while an admirable trait, is ALSO because he *is* gay and because not many

This is the line that got me:

I have the new Chappelle line stuck in my head now. ‘He saves, but he rapes. He saves more than he rapes, but he *does* rape.’ It was about Cosby, but goddamn. The man is the prophet of our time.

I feel the same, but I gotta admit this cleans the room for experimentation with weapons and a good reason to defeat challenging enemies. I wonder how the Master Sword is gonna work with this mechanic. (Its in the trailer, so is not a spoiler, and I don’t want to ruin it by searching for it :P )

Legend of Zelda, the “Fuck it, I’ma blow this weapon on these bokoblins because it’s burning a hole in my scabard”

Stealth-boosting gear, stealth-boosting potions and use stealth.

I can’t put it down. It’s literally been years since I’ve been this addicted to a game. And I own all 3 major consoles, I play everything just about and for some reason I just can’t stop playing Zelda. Like the world is just so much more fun to explore than other games. The story, the setting, everything. I spend

The Legend of Zelda: The Hunt for Korok Seeds and Oh! There’s Something Else Over Here Too

I’m coming up to 30 hours with the game now, been to two towns and still haven’t made it to a dungeon yet either! I have the ability to go to one of them, but in order to do so they gave some sweet armour with an added bonus that opened up a whole new way to explore, so I went off to use that instead! Last night when

And how boring would it be if I picked up a 60 damage weapon 2 hours into the game and it’s the only one I needed to use for the next 40+ hours? The weapon system as implemented adds thought and depth that wouldn’t otherwise be there (i.e. should I use this sword now or save it for an important fight later?)

I’ve beaten almost every AAA open world game of the last decade and yeah this one is on another level. Totally agree with the climbing comment it adds so much. All I want to do is explore and find new gear, materials, and shrines. Im over 20 hours in I think and I havent even stepped foot in a main dungeon yet

I’m not sure exactly how much time I’ve put in thus far, but it’s somewhere in the range of 10-15 hours I’d wager. I’ve only just made it to my second town. Now, I don’t know how many towns there are totally, but I feel that 10-15 and I’ve still not even made it to a dungeon proper yet is absolutely amazing.

I’ve played through (or nearly through) 4 or 5 open world games prior to Breath of the Wild. I’m about 10 hours into BotW and what amazes me is this is the first open world game that I fully enjoy exploring the world. A lot of open world games treat the open world areas as something you pass through from point A to
