It’s because retail stores donate the clearance items that didn’t sell (for tax write-offs). The lower clearance price is still on the tag - yet the thrift store is selling it for more than you could have paid in the store.

I really liked the X Files but nowadays when I watch it, I can’t help but wonder if it didn’t help legitimize these assholes.
How is a truther movement appropriate for Pinterest?
I agree. Playing music with other people makes you listen differently - you follow all the instruments (including the singers), without thinking about it. You’re tracking the choices they make, and when they surprise you, it’s bliss.
Well, if it happens, I’ll never know. We experience a mini-astronomical blackout every year around that time because of the lake effect snowbelt. When it gets cold, the sky disappears behind thick clouds and we don’t see the sun again until Lake Michigan freezes over.
Surface worked really well as a 15-episode mini-series. I loved the ending.
And Dark Skies
And in the Sean Connery movies.
I miss Psych. :(
Nice! It will be great to just do a search on a podcast when I missed some crucial point, but can’t be bothered to relisten to the whole thing.
Finding new content is a big issue, especially scripted podcasts - dramas, mysteries, sci-fi, etc. iTunes really needs to add upgrade their categories. You have to do some creative internet searches to find shows like “We’re Alive” or “The Black Tapes”. It shouldn’t be that hard.
Since that’s West Michigan, they’re smart to go. Better to miss the lake effect snow and endless cloudy days.
Background conversations work for me too. Podcasts are great for that. On the Nerdist, they often ask people about their work methods which is motivating.
I can’t listen to favorite concertos like Rachmaninoff’s 2 in C minor (so emotional), but do fine with Bach partitas or even Mozart trios. There’s a soothing repetitive quality - it’s very light yet energizing.
But how do you feel about her looks?
Random receipts, pennies, an apple that should be either eaten or thrown out today. These photos always make me feel like a slob.
Thank you for this. My husband, who is very smart, reads fiction much slower than I do - lingering over a book for weeks. Maybe he hears the words as he reads them?
We should just change our clocks 30 minutes and be done with it. Changing our clocks and sleep patterns twice a year is ridiculous.
Oh, and I didn’t mean you felt drunk - I meant that like drunkeness, you’re self and situational awareness is impaired. You can’t think things through to help yourself.
Thanks! Wish I could go back and edit but I can’t now. :)
