The categories and search function are pretty bad - especially since search results are limited to 5 options. Sometimes I’ll search by the content provider, like Feral Audio or BBC, to get truer “categories”.

Wow. They got the 80’s look down perfectly. It looks like they raided my high school closet.

It’s nice. Another bonus, is being able to watch The Chris Gethard show on your actual TV.

I like the iTunes channel for podcasts (Code ITPC). It’s nice to easily transition between Netflix and iTunes for things like Star Trek Mission Log Podcast, or Kumail Nanjiani’s The X-Files Files.

Funny, I just assumed he was making them from cut-up linoleum and asphalt glue (not mosaic stone), because that’s how the Toynbee Tiles are made.

I don’t think Carol is acting out of character. With Tandy Phil, it was a contract for repopulating the earth - no love, just “we gotta do this, so we better do it right”. With Dandy Phil, it’s a courtship. They’re on the same page emotionally and value-wise, so the contract isn’t necessary. Plus, she’s divorced now,

Well the job description he gave for himself pre-event was “temp” - no specialty, no skills. He worked where he was told to... but not well enough that anyone wanted to hire him - or if they did, he turned them down hoping for something better. He seems like the kind of guy who was just coasting through life, relying

No, it’s not - it’s really not. I listened to the first two books on audio tape. The premise isn’t The Prisoner either.

You should try it. I just watched the first episode on Hulu and like it, but I can’t tell how someone would feel who hadn’t read the book. Juliette Lewis and Matt Dillon are good so far.

Each book in the series is basically teens saving the world, yeah. I read them when I was a teen. This is MTV after all. They’re not going to pick a more adult series.

The Shannara Chronicles is based on the fantasy series by Terry Brooks.

Where’s Shannara? It’s supposed to premiere in July on MTV

I listened to the audio book, and it’s not. Though it does seem like it at first.

Rule for rich people: If your personal output is the source of the family wealth, don’t put your kids on the payroll. When you stop producing, they’ll act like panicky animals as the business (you) goes under.

I didn’t know it was a book series. It was a strange series to watch... I kind of liked it.

Now this one really looks like him - the nose and everything

The FBI changed it to “2 or more” possibly to make it easier to begin a proper investigation once a serial murderer is suspected.

With a little mood ring thrown in for good measure.

I'm with you. I've always favored the (allegedly) illegitimate brother, William, who was mentally unstable and suspected in another murder. The family may have preferred to have Lizzie stand trial and be acquitted, rather than publicly acknowledge the relationship.

I can't imagine what it must have like to be Margaret Backhouse. Did she suspect? Was she just used to his shifty-eyed, secretive behavior because of his affairs?
