Try the audio book - the reader is really good.

If you believe in soul mates, as in a reincarnation scenario where you made an agreement before you were born to be together in this life...

I would have FAR preferred a more "normal" Borg suit on her. The skin tight silver jumpsuit just made me cringe every single time I saw it.

I'm sure she's getting that exact message and feels pressure (even if just from herself) to forgive, visit and reconcile if he admits guilt or remorse. That puts her in a holding pattern, hovering and waiting for a signal from him so she can do her Christian duty.

I think the word "forgiveness" is associated with ideas like....

He said he felt like James Bond, meaning that his real identity was BTK, and his cover was middle class family man. Trying to wrap her head around the idea that her father was play-pretending his concern and love for her must be... just impossible without fracturing her very sense of self.

In Michigan, "guys" is any small group of people. It could be the group you're with or some other group. We say things like "Hey guys, look at this" or "It belongs to those guys over there" or "Guys, guys, guys, settle down and listen for minute."

If I'm overtired, I get this a lot. Perhaps because of mild left temporal lobe epilepsy?

Nice. Not that I have a problem with taking a foreign film and translating it for a new audience. (Sometimes you end up with two good takes on the same premise, sometimes not.) But, it is good to know that we won't see a repeat of the same jokes.

The trailer's not a good indication of the movie - I give them credit for leaving out the good scenes. It's both funnier and scarier, and also sweet and kind of sad. I'll have to try and see Shadows.

Is this like that mockumentary from Belgium, "Vampires." where a documentary film crew follows a vampire family?
