12/15, but only because I don't have a head for numbers and couldn't remember the cell blocks. I am embarrassed that i also forgot the kessel run was 12 parsecs not 22 ...
Just to add, as of right now the pre-order still shows up on my PS4 library and i haven't received any email from Sony or EA saying it's canceled.
Ok, just so we're clear on a few things:
Since when is selling drugs a victim-less crime? Even ignoring the issues that are tied to drug use and addiction, do you think this guy was growing coca in his backyard and selling it? These drugs came from criminal organizations, often extremely violent ones and the money being spent on this site is being funneled…
Ok, i concede that bringing the master/mistress back seems like going back to the well. The thing is, the 11th doctor left us with this link back to the time lords & gallifrey so it was inevitable that a time lord(lady) would pop up.
I see some similarities between this and Endless Legend - their tech tree is also open, they also offer only 3 unit types per faction (with an additional 3 that can be acquired through assimilating minor factions) and there's also a number of quests you acquire through exploration, including a main storyline quest for…
I thought people already knew that
It does not mention that the film is actually a straight up rip-off of Hamlet
For your fill of first person football check out this nike commercial from years ago. It's still one of my favorite pieces of advertising ever:
What is inertia, exactly? It's a phenomenon that's well known but neither Newton and Einstein's theories of gravity attempt to tackle it directly. In plain terms, an accelerating mass moving through a gravitational field behaves (mathematically) similar to a charged particle like an electron moving through an…
Just to add some perspective from the ground, this type of weather can sap the life out of you. The warm wind is called loo and it is hell, five minutes outside and your eyes and throat are burning. It can cause heatstroke very quickly if you're not careful.
I agree it was incredibly inspiring, more so because it echoed Sagan's own words - already immortalized in the Sagan Series of videos (part 1 has the speech that was used in Cosmos): http://saganseries.com/
My first question was maybe when i was 4 and had to do with the mysterious disappearance of the sun (brilliant kid i know).
I remember asking this, feeling proud that i understood the explanation and then for years never thinking about it until some random discussion in college. Anyway long story short, the sky's not blue - we see it as blue but if you analyze the spectrum it's actually equal parts blue and violet. Violet's scattered a bit…
Star Wars VII: The hunt for Palpatine's gold
I raise you "I wish i could just wish away my feelings"
My favorite is actually the story of how I discovered the trilogy. I was shown a new hope at some point in my early youth, maybe at 4. It was a vague memory of a story that blew my mind but that's all I had seen and this being India in the 80's there was no way for me to know there were actually 2 more movies.
Also to add, in some cases local laws in a country will prevent google from showing anything other than the recognized border - some of these laws apply in India as well, though as you can imagine these laws were created years ago for print and people have a hard time applying them to google maps.
MrVole - you're right, i shouldn't have used 'worship' there. I think i just had xhrit's comment on worshiping Buddha on my mind
