This is a better option then when I was shortlisted for a weekend writing job for Kotaku about a decade ago. $1200 a month with cash bonuses based upon the number of clicks. Seemed AWFUL.

And now look what’s happened, “Rock” is practically a classic genre stuck in the early 2000s at most recent, and Disco, a fantastic genre of music vilified in the States by white boomers and specifically targeted because it was POC and queer and female led, is now the genre influence du jour of pop music.

For people who have purchased, how is this as a game? I don’t understand how it’s fun. Could you build a major massive custom build and just slap the QR codes on other items? What’s the customization stuff that players should explore?

You have to pay in the earnable diamond currency to own the stage, and it’s only for 7 minutes, and you’re expected to earn them by watching and engaging in the game

The game was fun to play, and I have friends still deeply addicted to it. Really, the best thing it did was get me into using discord, and now I use that to shoot the shit with friends while I play Fall Guys or something.

My boyfriend is a non-gamer, and there is something about gaming that irks non-gamers. He isn’t explicit about it, but to them, it seems like gaming is so attention focused, your attention cannot be pushed towards them (nevermindn boyfriend will sit and watch TV for hours and nothing else).

yes yes yes yes. I jumped into the series with LaD, and LOVED it. Spent 80 hours doing almost everything in it. Ichiban is pretty much all I want in a friend and a brother.

totally. It’s fun and makes playing games like The Witcher or just shooting the shit on Fall Guys easier because you can hang out with friends and still dig into your back log. Being able to engage this way with a PS4 would be FANTASTIC.

Please bring native PS4/PS5 screenshare direct to Discord. I don’t want to stream to Twitch. I want to play a game and shoot the shit with my friends while they watch.
