That’s the thing that grinds me. when I buy digitally I’m buying into an ecosystem and games should one day be the way music and movies are now, available on new devices in that ecosystem. But it’s hardly like Apple is respecting that either.

I’m not sure but when I’m playing solo I’m more often in yellow. I think the meme that yellow sucks too also creates a cycle that everyone just agrees to pick on yellow, which is an odd bit of metagaming that manifests as it has.

It seems yellow team is the default for players who are playing alone and not in parties. That’s why they are losers - they don’t know the power of friendship :(

I knew one of the guys called out and fired here, not well, but I knew his circle of friends much better. There is something to be said about the types of men in the gaming industry who do this, and the ones specifically called out, many of them were known for curating a social circle of being “cool” and “popular.”

Honestly, both companies have shitty behavior but Apple needs to be taken down a peg. They have a 30% cut of EVERY piece of monetization on their platform. It’s shitty, and they will keep pushing on it until this goes to court.

There is this mentality that wealthy people are inherently better or more talented or harder working than us normies when it’s not the case. Often those “successful” people are beautiful, lucky, well connected, or already wealthy, and it’s all built on bullshit and a society of social stratification.

This game is really great. I love how positive and how much fun it is. I just hit level 130 at day 30 and target a baseline of 300 calories a session. It’s a blast.

The gay bara/furry scene has been into Dragaux for a while now. Lots of people thirst for the dragon with an unhealthy relationship with fitness and body dysmorphia. That’s the real bad guy!

Again, hard agree! The 2000s were really a pretty magical time for rock music, and as nostalgia for them come around I think we’re gonna see more revivals and one-offs. I’m glad The Decemberists are still kicking around, even if their newer stuff doesn’t stick as much as it used to.

It was Spring 2007, at London’s Sheperd’s Bush Empire. Amazing show, Crane Wife, magical. I still think about that show.
