Don't let me keep you from playing the game. It's a fantastic game and much better, IMO, than the previous games. You should definitely play it, at the very least rent it. It's just that the gameplay gets a little stale after awhile.

I actually agree with this. I absolutely LOVED the game but that's mostly because I'm a sucker for a good story, especially when it involves time/dimension travel. But the gameplay was far from perfect. It got to the point where I would moan when I knew that there was a firefight coming up..."ugh...more of the…
"What truly makes this unique to other shooters on the market?"
"not very good movie" ?!?!
Angry Birds is one very extreme example and then you go onto discredit the console side's extreme example(CoD). That's not exactly a fair comparison.
Mobile games also cost less than 2% of the cost of a normal $60 console game. You have to take that into account as well.
This comment is pretty ironic, seeing as you're being naive in saying we're the niche market. A larger number of players (mobile) is not better than a larger amount of revenue (console/pc gaming)
I actually like the 16-bit graphics better than this...more pixels doesn't always == better.
Wasn't the dark world a big part of the original? I don't get why that would even be a question as to whether it makes it into the game or not.
I'm confused, wasn't this posted last week?
There are a hell of a lot of first party games that you're missing though when you go only PC.
haha this is golden. I love over-enthusiasm...On a side note I'm actually kind of excited for this. Loved the first Peggle and I don't play many mobile games.
My friends and I use party chat all the time and we're well above 16. Party chat allows you to avoid the assholes online and just talk with your friends. It also allows you to talk with friends when you're not playing the same game. Gives me some time to catch up with friends and such. I don't know about you but I see…
I think it's a new branding tactic used by the large corps. Apple did it with the iPad. Instead of calling it the iPad 3,4,5,etc. they're just calling it iPad.
That's so funny that you say that. My friends and I nicknamed a section in Blood Gulch in the first Halo, Pride Rock haha.
9am is perfect for us east coasters. I can watch it at lunch :)
Yea, I love my job. I get to be at a different office every day a lot of the time instead of being stuck in one office. I get to help people out with their computer issues, which I love. And I have a lot of room to grow in my job. I'm not making anywhere near $70k though, damn. The cost of living in my area isn't that…
Being a grad student is a whole other beast in and of itself. I wasn't particularly talking about you.
