I completely agree. You should have to work to get on top of the bases. The cave sections are also bullshit. How is this game a "present to halo:CE fans" or (whatever they'r calling it) when you change it so much that it's not halo:CE anymore?

haha...really?
If you look above, you can see my nerd rage but now that I think about it, as long as they have the classic weapons with the same reload speed, damage, 3 shot kill pistol and then same jump height, walking speed and undamagable vehicles...I'll be happy. I just want to play Bloodgulch CTF again. That's all i want.
are you serious? wow, this keeps getting worse and worse.
This is bullshit. When I first heard about this game I was so excited for the ability to be able to play classic halo over xbox live, that's all I ever wanted. Now they give me fuckin' Reach with halo:CE maps and weapons. Fuck that. I have no problem with Reach, but when you mess with a near perfect multiplayer game,…
You guys are lucky, my parents wouldn't get caught dead playing video games, let alone Zelda.
haha that one went WAY over your head didn't it?
20"? for $250 you could probably find a 20" for like $100-$150. 20" is small.
Well, I believe you answered it yourself, White Knight Chronicles, because your closest to finishing that and you want to finish one of those before Deus Ex.
haha what a tool
Another great read by my man Kirk.
haha I love that you mentioned Megaman. Those games are the epitome (for me at least, I realize there are probably harder games) of "Nintendo hard"...specifically the Wily castle stages. I beat megaman 10 and I can't imagine what it's like on hard. I would probably end up throwing my controller in a meat grinder then…
Yea, it really does depend on the game. I mean since Bastion is a pretty short game and I enjoyed it a lot, I could see myself playing it on hard. Although, now that I think about it, it kind of has a hard mode, in a sense, if you enable all of the shrines the game gets DAMN hard. Maybe I'll try that some time, not…
Do you think the addition of the "beat on hard" achievement adds to the game in a sense that it "forces" you to play it on hard and your glad that it did because otherwise you never would? Or are you kind of bitter about having to beat it on hard just to get all of the achievements.
haha YES, I forgot about that video!
I could see myself trying this out, I can't see myself spending any money on it.
The thought of playing on hard always crosses my mind, for the exact reason that you mentioned...it seems to bring the best out of the game. It makes you use more strategy and such, but I almost always choose normal basically because, I have no time or patience anymore to deal with playing a mission/level/boss over…
RiotControl's right, every game you mentioned is a mediocre game at best. Also, counter strike already has a large fan base; fans, like me, who also have consoles and would rather play it on the console, for many reasons, on being a large friends list on LIVE.
I was just saying the same thing. They have some similarities but many differences also. If I remember correctly, CS doesn't have respawning. You can't aim down the sights when you shoot and there's no level progression or kill streaks...now that I think about it, they are nothing alike.
I will most likely pick this up, for 360 because all of my friends are on Live rather than steam. I'm interested to see how it will hold up against COD as far as controls. I just hope it feels right using joysticks rather than mouse and keyboard. I'm thinking it probably won't since it will be a PC port to console,…
