There are lots of indie games I saw in that presentation that I really liked the look of. Knack looks good, I hope that's running at 1080p, would really shine on a good TV I think.

well at first that sounds like a joke...
This is going to be a perfect storm......
Every time I hear some wiener brag about how many units the 360 sold, I think of this.
I just really don't want Kinect.
There's a difference between an SDK having bugs and a WIP build of a game having bugs. A HUGE difference.
So it costs more than getting BOTH an Xbox One and PS4, and is less powerful than either of them. Nice. Not interested. Sticking with my PS4.
This Xi3 guy is trolling every tech blog like he did in January. Its one guy working out of his house with a generic miniPC sourced from alibaba.com and a logo sticker slapped on the side. He misrepresented himself to Valve as the designer/manufacturer, they liked the form factor and invited him & a dozen other to…
It doesn't have a Graphics card or any dedicated GPU, it's an AMD APU (Read- integrated graphics)
Anyone buying one of these for games is getting robbed
doesnt say anywhere wat the graphics card is...
Who knows if that's accurate. XB1's and PS4's also came up as $999 as a placeholder price, though a computer is more likely to be more expensive. This still doesn't have a date yet so who knows.
Wow, and to think people thought the XB1 was expensive. :-) Seems a lot of money just to play games or can you use it like a normal PC and go online? Even then it would be a hard sell, well for me anyway.
I'd pay a couple hundo for a system that can stream from my PC at high settings, but $999? No thanks!
Ah, those specs (and the price) were already known - the pre-order page has been up for a while. Which makes me think Monday's announcement will be something else.
The form factor is pretty much the only thing this machine has going for it.
Radeon 7000, according to http://www.xi3.com/piston-console…
Exactly. My custom build will be a BitFenix Prodigy.
Yeah, you can make your own micro-ITX with this level hardware for sub-$500 probably... yikes.
Looks like they have a matching external hard drive setup:
Wow, this is ridiculous. I just priced a custom build with the same specs at less than $500.
