That is going to take some of the goodwill and enthusiasm away from Steam Box. No longer feels like you are supporting the underdog. Now Valve comes across like every other mega-corporation.

The tech was patented by Sony. I'd be more worried that it is coming to the PS4 rather than the XBOX 1080. I always end up owning all the consoles, but I'll leave whichever blocks used games sitting on the store shelf.
