The number 1 reason not to buy a Wii U at launch is the controller. I'm waiting to see if the $150+ controller is built to last. If it is prone to break or fail I'll stay far away. Nintendo will be busy dealing with angry parents anyway.

It is $175 in Japan for a controller. $150 doesn't seem too far off.

This will be the Achilles heel of the Wii U. Kids will want one and MANY kids will break their controller. Parents will be blindsided by the replacement cost.

11/12/13 is the next Xbox's release date. 100% guaranteed. No doubt about it. Trust me.

No doubt about it. I'll be saving my money for XBOX1080 next year. The same thing happened with Dreamcast when people were waiting for PS2. This may very well be the last Nintendo console.

Except people love the Dreamcast.

The difference is that the iPod is one of the most successful pieces consumer electronics ever released. The Vita is a curiosity that 54 people have purchased. The Dreamcast of handhelds, if you will.

It adds to the experience, but most people would rather have homebrew apps and such than trophies. Plus, there may be mods that allow you to go online like with the original PSP.

Trophies keep people from modding? HA!
