Yes, it was brand new. I also lay my 360 horizontally. Having gone through three 360s that eventually crapped out soon after warranty it didn’t surprise me.

Same. Scratched up a copy of GoW. I put it in, played it for an hour or two never touching/moving the console during this time, took the disc out and it was scratched to oblivion.

Thank you kindly. Never been complimented for not liking anime too much before!

No, not this time. I have little interest in anime or this show in particular and only clicked it to see the creepy uncanny valley photos. The article was of no interest to me. My response was purely off the title alone.

I know, listing all four seasons just made the post read better. (As I anticipated people would say, “You forgot Winter.”)

This doesn’t look freaky to people?!

In addition to SGDQ I think we also need S(pr)GDQ, FGDQ, and WGDQ. Fuck cancer 100%.

Did I just watch a Mario 64 video or a video on Quantum Theory? This video was bananas.

The knife was overpowered in Homecoming and after a while that’s all I used. Fighting the enemies the first dozen or two times was a refreshing change of pace for a Silent Hill title but the fights lingered on too long (too much dodging on the enemy’s side for me) so the knife was my quick go-to solution for that.

Yeesh. Did you know Bogeyman also appeared in Konami’s Krazy Racers game? There’s just some characters that don’t fit in for goofy, child-like games.

We are both on the same page then. :)

There are debates that I’m not qualified enough to go deep in to on whether or not RPT is “exclusive” to James. RPT is an executioner from Silent Hill’s history meaning RPT as an executioner is something any person who visits Silent Hill could possibly run in to. The question becomes is the Red Executioner we see in SH

I think only three or four people still live there which makes it that much creepier to me. Just imagine your entire neighborhood is abandoned, left in a state of decay and disrepair. Toxic fumes pouring out of the concrete, roads completely destroyed in some parts, no stores in sight. You and maybe one or two other

Call RPT what you want, dude, I really don’t care. I call him RPT because that’s what the designer of that creature originally named it, that is its official name, and because I like typing out “RPT.”

I won’t argue that for a minute but a simple color swap is a blip on the radar compared to the changes of RPT vs. Bogeyman, in my opinion.

Oh, absolutely in your defense SH4 had some extremely bad combat for all reasons you mentioned. Not being able to truly kill the ghosts got me pretty grumpy as they soon became annoyances than scary.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Mario still has the same hat, mustache, and overalls since seen in his 1980s ads.

I never said RPT didn’t have a Great Knife in SH2. The picture was comparing its appearance vs. “Bogeyman” and not so much the weapon, although I should’ve clarified that in my original post as the article is about its weapon.

I feel that if Silent Hill Homecoming was renamed to Resident Evil Homecoming and the creatures changed to zombies it would have worked much better when taking that game’s combat in to effect.

If we want to get snobbish which I gladly will for this particular topic: The “Pyramid Head” you see above in this video and its knife are not Red Pyramid Thing (RPT).
