If he owns a legitimate copy of SMW for his SNES, is it still unauthorized if he makes a ROM backup of it on his PC and plays that version? Were there specific terms and conditions printed on the cartridge/its box talking about this back in the SNES days?

Simple, my boy: While there is definitely no worthwhile story in this game and a measly sum of three total cutscenes in the game*, you’re forced to re-watch these three cutscenes endless times as there are only six total levels* in the vanilla game to play.

lmao what a weak argument. If I have to download mobile apps and go to external websites to read and fully understand the story the game’s trying to tell then the game has failed on all fronts delivering its story to me as I, ya’ know, play the game.
