Avocado toast.. Didn’t know this was a thing, but you can have avocado toast AND a house in your future. It costs about $1.50 for that avocado toast if you make it at home. If you want the toast AND full service in some cafe/restaurant, you may have to give up the house.

This is what the GOP seems to enjoy doing; claiming to stop some control the dems were using (with a negative label) while just changing the control to a more hateful version. ‘Handcuffs’ are still on.

I think it’s dangerous to assume that a leak = bullshit, though I would be fine with taking it with a grain of salt. I’d totally agree with that modern Ranger desire.

That’s what I was thinking at first, but didn’t see any mention of it in the article.

Does this suggest that the CA regulation serves as a prelude of US changes to come, and that while they don’t have to follow the CA regulation (selling outside of CA), they have a good idea of what regulations will be in the future, and can work toward those goals before the US regulations follow? Otherwise, I’m not

This is why the estate tax died. Everyone wants to hold out hope that they’ll be rich one day, and don’t want an additional tax when they do become rich. Of course, their party only works to keep them from becoming rich.

Ha, fair enough..

That’s about the same price as an base 300hp Mustang. Two very different but fun & cheap cars.

Totally agree that voting with dollars is instant and quite effective. But would the public realize they no longer have the best stuff at the lowest cost if they aren’t seeing foreign options? Chrysler sold quite a few K cars..

I have a soft spot for Tesla, but this sounds like a great situation for future customers..

The general American public is tolerating a lot of things I didn’t think they would. I hesitate to assume what would be acceptable moving forward, or the spin that would be put on any negative outcomes..

Sure. It’s pure capitalism, and the employee is free to jump between companies. Just as companies are free to outsource their positions, unions are able to push for better wages/conditions, employers are able to switch to robots, and people are free to complain about how they’re losing their jobs despite not acquiring

It’s not the same; but the response reminds me of another problem.

Your company doesn’t pay you as much as the male pilots...get a job at a company that will?

Place a folded dish towel in your hand, under the avocado. And pay attention.

Do people still argue about which shitty beer is the greatest beer? I thought that was a college thing..

I’ve had similar happen while on the motorcycle. Terrifying.

Let’s see what happens next year, but there’s definitely some self-owning going on here.

Drove a rental pickup from Chicago to Columbus for a slightly thrashed but quite cheap 5th gen VFR800. Took a while to nurse that back to health on the cheap, now it’s just trip-planning and riding.

I grew up in Chicago. Never had a parking ticket until I had a car (ba dum, ch!). I racked up many parking tickets between then and intelligence. Sometimes one should read the sign..
