I like it without one. Why distract yourself with nonsense? The navigation system has auditory alerts, and you can tell if you’re speeding by looking outside.

Can I high-five you for your concern about noise pollution while off roading? I have no problem with dirt bikes and ATVs as vehicles, what I do have a problem with is being followed while camping by what sounds like a million farts through a can.

I will absolutely buy this if it actually gets made. They don’t intend on making them themselves though, and are looking for a partner to build them. If they are smart, and able, they should see if they can leverage Tesla’s charging network (for a fee) for these.

a buddy of mine from liverpool (a “white van man”) visited me in California and was shocked you could drive around with tools in an open bed pickup. he said if you tried that at home they would clean you out at the first traffic signal.

From what I’ve read, the 5000hp figure is with peak boost aroung 36psi and race gas. Otherwise on pump fuel and 20 (ish) psi its around 3600 hp. Ridiculous nonetheless. But to your point, that’s dyno conditions. How the hell they expect to cool this thing without it eating itself, I haven’t the slightest clue. Read more

It gets more interesting when you consider a truck drives at an average of 60mph and the driver can only drive a max of 11 hours, or a total of 660 in a day and you know that’ll include at least one rest stop for food/coffee/bathroom/etc. In other words, there’s no downside to battery range and only a HUGE upside on Read more

Funny how they made a 3D digital render that someone was able to sit in and drive. Tesla technology is even more advanced than I thought. Seriously, this old trope is so fucking tired. Just admit you hate the company and move on. They have done something nobody else has, yet all your simple minded ass can do is Read more
