That is not my understanding (I have yet to get the 8.0 notification to install): if you don’t respond, and the car has to start the abort procedure (i.e. Slow down to a gradual stop), but then you finally notice and take over, it will not allow you to engage autopilot again until you stop and put the car in Park.

First world everything.

Either Honda is still under the impression that only cheapskates buy manual hatchbacks

This is such a non-story. But on this one, your coverage is spot on!

No, they did not. Sigh. Reporting is hard.

No, no. Oh god no...

Man, I knew BAR F1 was pretty terrible (except that one season, although no wins ever). I did not know it got beat by a 660cc engined pencil.

I came to see this (it is funnier now that it has been officially denied), I am not disappointed.

No Tesla driver I know connects to WiFi, because the car has free LTE, and well it moves around quite a bit, reducing the usefulness of WiFi. Some may connect it to their home network. The car does not connect to random open networks, you have to explicitly do it yourself.

Please, not the beautiful Lancer! Keep it forever flying!

Ironic that they focus on the effect to cost at the pump. Or maybe not...

Wow. Just wow. I feel so little and underachieving right now.

Yup. Last December, I drove from San Francisco to LA and back in my S. The car was ready before I was most times.

Oh, I agree, but they are all capped at 50kw. Chademo or CCS, they all have the same charging rate.

The Bolt is an EV for the range anxious commuter.

90 miles in 30 minutes means you’ll be stopping every 90 minutes for 30 minutes. So 25% of your time spent charging instead of driving. This makes no sense, and just confirms what the EV critics say (it can drive for 500 miles!). You need much faster DC charging. Yes, like Tesla (twice as fast), at a minimum.

DC fast charge is most usually pay-per-use outside of Tesla’s network. I need to research this, but am pretty sure this will be a wash between the two cars cost-wise.

You’ll be able to road trip in the Model 3. No way a road trip makes sense with the Bolt’s reliance on sparse DC fast charging stations that charge at half the speed of Tesla’s Superchargers (50kw instead of 120). This makes long range driving very impractical.

Am very happy they used a 747. Best looking passenger jumbo out there. No questions. Queen of the skies!

Interviewer used “pesky” before that thing came up and mic dropped on his face.
