Wait, what?
Wait, what?
Agreed. Having to go to a station to refill pressurized hydrogen looks like a hassle to me, when a BEV can fill itself while you sleep or work. Or shop.
Yup, all the PR. If it needs to be sold so bad, there are serious doubts about the long term viability of the business model.
This.
I just don’t get the logic of fuel-cell EVs: use electricity to make hydrogen. Then use some more electricity to highly compress that hydrogen, and finally use the hydrogen to make electricity to move the car. Rube Goldberg must have had a hand in this...
It’s Charles de Gaulle.
And the minute it leaves the lot, it will be trailing your smartphone in technological terms. The rest of the lease won’t be any kinder to it.
Not to nitpick, but Quebec is not a country. They do have most of the electric cars in Canada, by a large margin, but they are still part of that country (let's not start that thread).
Came here expecting to see this. Leaving fulfilled.
A FLOPPY DISK DRIVE to control the A/C.
Exactly what we need: hand control back to the texting idiots. Through their thoughts: “Bro, I totally dig Candy.” “Kim, Matt is such an idiot!” “Dude, I think I crashed my car with my absent-mindedness” (Yeah, that last one never happens in this story. They just die.)
The Toyobaru twins are also a great example of fun at sane speeds. It also allowed those companies to lower their fleet average MPG!
Saw an i8 pulling away from me at a light. That thing goes like stink.
#7 Have to disagree here. Infotainment screens are distracting and become dated the minute you leave the dealer with your phone in the car.

You forgot to tell them to turn their smartphone camera sideways...
Might Tesla make its way back on Top Gear now that it will be different? Sound like they want to take the show in a new direction.
Disagree. Read this first. Is was quite enlightening: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/wor…
Finally, someone provides some good information to help understand the reaction of passers-by. Thanks NatR!
Disagree: one human seeing another in danger should somehow react. I may not understand the cultural aspect of it.
