Here are some pics, from you know real cars in what looks like a setup for dropping them out of a plane. Sounds like a great plan.

Paint’s heavy too. Ish.

Came here to post that I can imagine fighter jocks wanting to do just that!

Living in one sounds like an extremely Bay Area thing to do. Hmmm....

I did.

Wow, it’s like I was there. Now that’s talent!

I totally felt it just by watching the ad. You are way off man.

Here are a couple of pics from that day:

I was totally there not 10 days ago and saw that thing (from a distance). It looked like what they use to store parts inside the Dreamlifter. Which we saw, as it sits right next to the small museum and observation deck.

Yes, or else that would constitute a DUI.

So advanced for the time: a chase car specially outfitted with lap-belts. Wow!

Yep. Just try and find a the cable handling in the Cadillac ELR ads.

Nice of the pilot to have moved over a few feet for that cyclist. How did the wash not blow him off the road?

Looks like it came down while still fighting the good fight. No nose-dive, so some control, just no power. Right?

Oh, YURP, you so crazy! I love you for it.

I could hear all the things creaking on that touch down. That right side landing gear is strong...

I would have thought that the Monaco GP would have been higher on the list.

I’ve always wondered why wheels are not equipped with a few simple blades to make them spin up with airflow.

How about using it for a bit of boost at takeoff? Getting a plane to move from 0 is clearly not efficient with thrust vs air. Having a bit of traction-based momentum would allow for some more efficiencies I would guess.

Here’s why Kimi Räikkönen is probably smiling somewhere next to a bowl of ice cream because of the rules released today.
