“There are myriad reasons to have an abortion and a mother should never have to explain them to anyone. I should hope that the gender and race of the child are not among those reasons.”

There’s a difference between ending a pregnancy because it’s a girl when you want a boy—and that’s a societal issue that needs to be dealt with—and ending a pregnancy because the fetus has Down Syndrome, and you feel you cannot adequately care for a disabled child like this. Especially when the people who want to

but sex-selective abortion is a very real problem.

Guess what? It’s not up to you to determine what constitutes a “valid” reason for abortion.

I don’t think I have a female one but my male Nemesis Star is definitely Terrence Howard.

I think she wants you to think it's fascinating. I think it's actually that she doesn't come off terribly well when she's unscripted.

I’m pretty sure it’s because she has a, like, 7th grade education. She knows her strengths and speaking candidly and intelligently in public / for the public ain’t one of them.

I’m so glad I don’t have children or nieces/nephews (though I have a niece on the way) because I’ve never heard that song and I never plan to. When what is now my nietus (niece fetus) is around, she will be listening to Rush and nothing but, just so she gets a taste of something good.

That sentence doesn’t make any sense, but you can’t really argue with her point.

Greg, I love your work. I don’t always agree with all of it, but I’m also pretty sure as a thirty-eight year-old white guy, I can’t possibly understand all the angles from which your viewpoint is informed, so in general I try to just read with an open mind. Your work is always intriguing and thought-provoking without

I read that empathy tends to decrease as people have more money. Because the poor need to rely on others to survive, but the rich take a lot for granted.

Hey now this is America, where we abstain from all forms of education.

YOU SHUT YOUR GODDAM MOUTH FINGERS WITH THE TYPING.

That made me curious, so I went and watched it. And now I have hives (I’m allergic to these kinds of shows), but I see your point... she’s not very articulate about it, but it’s true, this does seem like a huge leap from just a couple of months ago.

Depends on what shoes you’re wearing and how long the flight is I guess (but bare feet in a public space like that is icky, and I have nothing against feet but the thought of being bare foot in a plane creeps me out, you don’t know what else has been on that carpet). I know a lot of people wear their biggest heaviest

It IS absolutely disgusting and rude, and I feel like a newer phenomenon. I feel like in recent years flying has become like being in a Walmart in the Sky. A level of vulgar, self-involved grossness that is mind-boggling to me.

...in public? That’s fucked up. Change yourself.

Learn and grow. Please.

I had a friend who smoked a whole marijuana and died. It’s real you guyz. Fear the reefer.

I look at those pictures and I think “yep the people who make up those couples have definitely interacted with each other before these pictures were taken. Definitely. For sure.”
