Have you checked forums for fixes? There could be an aftermarket solution to that. In my mustang, sometimes when driving hard the shifter wouldn’t want to go through the gate. The cause was a misalignment between the shifter housing and well, the rest of the transmission because of the varying torque loads shifting…
