True but a 15 year old car with barely any miles that never went higher than half it’s RPM range might actually need a lot of engine TLC to run back at full power because occasionally pushing the engine actually helps keep it clean. And let’s not forget other components that don’t take too well to underuse. I’d skip

I’m a firm believer in having actual performance mufflers (glasspacks) over straight pipes and last week’s /Drive Engineering video on exhaust systems pretty much gave me extra ammo in my stance.

Man i would be sorely disappointed if I thought my V6 would smoke everything hahaha

Seems our experienced are identical! I just don’t bother joining the clubs or attending the shows because my treatment of the car is as my summer beater and it would make them cringe.

I knew I would see Mustangs here and for good reason. But you forgot one demographic in that Mustang listing: Old people who baby them too much.

Nah I just replaced the factory shifter bracket with a solid barton unit. Decided to start small and cheap and see if it helps enough. The forum posts were promising and it’s performed fabulously so far. The blowfish bracket is incredible for sure but the price was a tough one to swallow and the NVH would be a bit

I get it. Just throwing that idea your way in case they DON’T eventually fix it

Just throwing it out there in case he gets frustrated with subaru.

Have you checked forums for fixes? There could be an aftermarket solution to that. In my mustang, sometimes when driving hard the shifter wouldn’t want to go through the gate. The cause was a misalignment between the shifter housing and well, the rest of the transmission because of the varying torque loads shifting

So it’s a giant, quad-pump military jetski.

If I lived in a big city and 90-95% of my annual driving was in the city and the climate was more temperate and less extreme on both ends then a car like the fit makes a ton of sense especially for the tiny footprint. But if your average speeds are higher and involve a lot of highway, pay the couple of grand extra and

I made the same joke when I wrote my “article” about trading it in hahaha.

My 2013 Honda Fit that I had.

As someone who’s had two waverunners, I can vouch for their awesomeness. I already miss summer. Damnit.

I laughed too hard at this hahaha

My best friend had a 1997 teal blue cavalier almost 10 years ago. He took it to his cottage once in a while and it always came back. Why is that impressive? You need an SUV to normally get there unscathed. His dad used to do it with a van that had a steel skidplate underneath and that skidplate got dented once so

Yeah, modern american musclecars seem to be pretty aweful at holding their value. The exception seems to be the last-gen american market Pontiac GTO which, really, was imported from Australia. These apprently are still worth a good 30k USD in the used market. At least, according to Matt Farrah

Rather harsh and homophobic.

If Power Metal has taught me anything, it’s that naming your boat the White Pearl will doom it to hitting a coastal rock and sinking into the sea, killing all passengers aboard:
