To those complaining about heavy clutches. The thing is heavy clutches are usually in cars with healthy amounts of torque, so you can technically reduce some effort and start in a higher gear if you know that traffic is going to pickup some speed. Which is usually what happens in Ottawa: accelerate from a stop to up

There’s rear end lash even when they are new. You get cluck on sudden accel or decel. They are known for that. Charms of a solid axle. The 8.8inch rear end is supposed to be pretty tough.

You would be surprised. The chassis/suspension/brake mods are universal on all models and the 3.7 has a stroker kit with forged pistons and rods with higher or lower compression than stock depending on application. Plus, you can get ported intake manifold and heads.

Thankfully I have the 3.7 haha

Well I’m a hair under the 60k mark and ford just replaced my struts for free because of my service plan so I’m set for a while haha.

My mustang does this if you let off after bouncing against the rev limiter or shift at low to moderate throttle pressures between 3 and 4k rpm. So it’s not as hardcore all the time like the porsche or jaaaaaaaag and you don’t get them when shifting at 7 grand for full throttle acceleration.

Seems more like a failure of the rear suspension components for not holding the axle in place. Either way, ouch!
