@okolowicz: I understand the position that the RIAA et al have. They're wrong. I'm saying that the article seems to equate piracy with hacking. "...file-sharing services were an incredible example of positive disobedience. They demonstrated the desire for purchasing and sharing unprotected digital music online..."

@BookGirl: Ah. I forgot about that...

...let's hope your kid is smart enough to know how to open the door and unlock it if they were able to lock it... At least, if airplane lavatory doors still work like I remember (pretty much exactly like a portalet's door). I don't know... maybe I'm overestimating the intelligence of children today, or I'm

Hacking and pirating are not the same thing. At least, grey-hat hacking. Piracy is straight black-hat. Don't confuse these two. Working around restrictions of something you purchased to make it work for you is not the same as working around restrictions to make something somebody else purchased work for you (or

Dammit. I loved GOOG-411!

Adam: Balvedere is returning a false-positive virus alert on my computer. I guess because it's trying to delete a file (because I told it to), but Sophos sees that as suspicious for some reason... Specifically, it's this suspicious activity alert: [www.sophos.com]

Facebook is good if all the people you want to invite are your friends on it. If not, then there's a problem. If not everyone's using it, there's always Evite, which requires no account.

Lord... Do I ever need people to start getting along... Anybody have experience in controlling people with Asperger syndrome/ADHD?

@synth7: Nope, this is true. "SSSS" stands for "Secondary Security Screening Selectee". I have personally experienced being selected. I missed my original flight, so I had to book a last-minute one-way flight. All of those red flags contributed to me getting additional screening.

Darn it... I kind of want to start a group project of some form, so I can actually use this.
