Ironic racism
You only read the title :)
Puts literacy tests for voting in context
See, social justice people getting punked is like being against social justice. somehow.
The guy claims its "fake"
THIS misquoting
that's fine. I'm not in any way an apologist. I just think the misquoting is the unexamined root of this woman's fiasco. I hope the complaint gets action.
Sure, but if someone consents to penetration, and THEN says stop, and the penetrator doesn't stop it IS rape (right?), and it is not rape if he stops (right?)
The Huffpo report did not contain any direct quote where Mostov/anonymous (and im 99% certain they are the same based on comparison of the various news reports) claimed that she was told no orgasm = no rape. The direct quote included did say "he stopped" means no rape.
No, that's what the jezebel and huffpo story led you to believe
this is grossly misreported by jezebel. Its not that no orgasm = no rape, its that her rape report was misquoted as saying "he stopped" when she told him to = no rape.
yeah. this is grossly misreported by jezebel. Its not that no orgasm = no rape, its that her rape report was misquoted as saying "he stopped" when she told him to = no rape.
There is more on the "I was told since there was no orgasm, there was no rape" here
Reed has a transcript of Andrew Paul Bean's confession. Everyone should read it: ist very instructive as to how he assailed her and ignored her cries of no to penetrative sex when she was only going to engage in oral sex with him
I'm trying to figure this out. The Huffpo story has the actual quote from the person who says the detective told her
More like the legal version of saying that Iraq seems to be governing itself, so its time for the US forces to withdraw.
This is what Taranto is referring to BTW. It seems kinda ambiguous
Nothing in Taranto's article takes a "men can't help themselves" point of view.
The article didn't actually say that campaigning against sex assault was a war on men or rape apologia. He also doesn't generalize in his article to women, but is discussing one particular (murky) case.
