I think one of the biggest reasons the CR-Z did so bad was because the lack of rear seats. The majority of people who want a hybrid want more than two seats and the majority of people who want a two seater want something high performance and probably not a hybrid.

I was very tempted to purchase a G502, but the weight and materials just don't seem as good as the original.
