That makes sense, I actually did the same thing years ago, but just got sick of the hassle in dealing with my computer to watch a movie. Speak of the devil... [www.newegg.com] $109 is a damn good deal ;)

Ahh I see what this is all about. You're all bent out of shape because you thought I was slamming on your BFF Apple. Apple had nothing to do with my comment. If you look at what I said it was in regards to Dell.

For me the pigs are always the same. TechCrunch, Gmail, and Adblock Plus.

I used to tear on it. I quit using FF because the whole reason it came into existence was as a light weight alternative to Mozilla. Once it gave that up I moved on. If I'm going to blow that much ram it might as well be faster, use multiple cores, and individual processes.

All of our expenses are in Money. Man I wish they didn't discontinue it...

Personally I would get either an Elitebook, Toshiba, or a MB. I haven't used a Thinkpad since IBM sold them so I can't give any input there.

I normally keep 3 windows open. One is full of work stuff, one is full of personal, and one is full of news. Generally the only time they get cleaned out is when I can't see what they are anymore (just tabs, no picture, no txt). The last thing I need is to be able to search through those tabs I can't see and for it to

I agree, but that isn't the whole truth. Before they beefed up security American's were not flying on planes. We (and I use the term loosely because I was flying) brought this upon ourselves. They had to react to get people flying again.

The TSA doesn't only exist to stop terrorists from taking a flight or boarding a train. They are also responsible for the areas within the security parameter.

I'm talking about business installs and 16 years of enterprise experience not "my 3 friends have never had a problem".

Jesters twitter account talks about it so I think that is the end of it.

Not seeing some of the big guys being involved really makes me wonder what the issue is. Hopefully it's not another "sounds too good to be true because it is" deal...

I used to use this method with my MB, but constantly had problems with the external display and drove me absolutely insane. It would rarely sync with the external display causing it to flash constantly or sit on a black screen. Sometimes turning it on and quickly shutting it did the trick but that was rare.

While I would have made an image I still would try a quick rollback before waiting the time required to restore the image.

My Toshiba's have that beat by about 8 years. Dell makes junk IMO, but Toshiba and HP are another matter.

Is it just me or does everyone seem far more angry after the redesign?

The TSA agents don't appear to be unprofessional and kids always get checked. Parents stash things on their kids all the time.

I would welcome an employer giving me the boot over something I was doing legally in my spare time ;) I'm not a politician or something along those lines, I have been working in IT for Corporate America the last 12 or 13 years.

Wow there are a ton of people with mortgage horror stories, Jesus... All I can say people, do yourself a favor and get with a broker that is a person. Talk to the older people in your family and I can assure you they know one. Sure there is a premium for using their services, but you do not get screwed over. They know

Because I don't worry about my home computer? No I don't have kids and no I'm not a teacher (not sure what teaching has to do with it, but my wife does), but a position of responsibility sure.
