I use rcync/rdiff, syncbak, and Acronis for my backup needs (work/home). It’s cool that Rob created this app, but honestly I have no need to change gears. Besides, young apps make me nervous.

I have thought about moving my office upstairs to a smaller room, but to be completely honest I don’t like the idea of being shoved off in a corner somewhere and not have any idea what is going on downstairs. If I did do this I would miss out on way too much interaction with my wife. Plus my house was built in 1919

@Mayor McRib: The Ford Focus was the number one clunker replacement and incase you missed it, Ford didn’t take any money from the Fed.

@fate47 - Meh.: hahah I'm sure there are, but I don’t know. If I lived in Lansing or Ann Arbor I’m sure I would know of them, but I live closer to Detroit. Most of the hate around here is centered around the U of M / MSU rivalry.

@fate47 - Meh.: Yeap, used to go down there to raise hell on a regular basis, but back then you could still smoke. Michigan or MSU > OSU sucka

haha True… I think if cigarettes had the same effect as booze people would chime in much more often.

I don’t read my email or the news until I get into work. I wake up 45 minutes before I have to leave for work which leaves me enough time to make coffee, smoke, iron, and shower.

@drewls: First of all you made the point about it costing us more than it actually does which is where my statement about some of that money coming back fits in. I'll just assume that you forgot you were talking about that.

@drewls: You also need to keep in mind that there are additional benefits for the local, state, and federal government in their population driving newer cars. First, plates and registration are more expensive, they make money on sales tax, they also pull in tax money from the automakers profits, and they make money

@drewls: Why would you need a trust fund to buy a new car? There is another option, it's called a job.

Thanks H2G! This is how I’ve been upgrading, but it’s good to know it still works ;)

I agree with everyone in that the chart is confusing because there are too many versions, but truth be told for the price and better yet for the price of the family pack, I don’t give a crap; one step at a time fellas.

I started downloading it yesterday morning and by the time I got home it was crawling at 36kbps so it should be done today at some point.

@UnderLoK: Sorry for the double post, comments weren't posting :(

Maybe I do because I’ve been on the other side of the fence trying to pay the bills. Sure, most of the sites won’t miss 10% of their users not seeing the ads (I would assume more like 40% on LH and Giz), but the more people employ these blockers the less that the advertisers will be willing to pay. Wow… Impressive work!

@fate47 - Meh.: The only reason I have a 900 is because they were free. Long story short; we needed them for their range in some of our studios that went away. When it came time to pay for a mouse (I’ve always had Intelli’s) I went with the 518. Tons of buttons, no battery, and cheap in comparison.
