My expectations will never lower to the point where I view fact twisting and misquoting as acceptable. Accountability matters.

That’s the entire objective of this “article”.  Facts and quotes be damned.

Nobody is stopping Erik from looking elsewhere for work.  It isn’t the poor quality of these posts I have a problem with, although I don’t excuse it.  It is the distortion of facts and abandonment of any shred of journalistic integrity that seems to now be the norm on this site and the others in this family of

Although sophistication and cost are often aligned, I don’t consider them directly related and wasn’t implying that in my comment.  There are many reasonably priced cars that offer lots of sophistication from a driving and quality standpoint.

Reading posts like this, which I would argue should not even be considered journalism, makes it hard to believe that Sir Stirling Moss once posted a piece on this very same website.

Except for the fact that vaping is KNOWN to have huge respiratory risks that can lead to serious illness and even death and coronavirus is...wait for it....a RESPIRATORY disease.

Apparently not, and the response from readers in the comment section of article’s like this is reflecting a real distaste for this crap.  Rightly so.  It isn’t even nuanced...just pure distortion of facts.

I’ve seen a few in the wild and they are absolutely gorgeous.  Porsche killed it with this design.

Per my comment above in response to a similar question, Erik and several other writers across this family of websites aren’t much interested in fact-based writing these days.  Distortion of facts in the interest of drama is the order of the day.  It is sad to see considering the level of writing that used to reside on

Except that the market for this model knows exactly what to do...and they are doing it in the form of buying the car.

The whole point of Porsche’s position on this is that they aren’t really interested in highlighting anything when it relates to comparisons with Tesla.  The Taycan is a better car, tailored for a more sophisticated buyer.  It is breathtaking to behold when you see one in person.  They will have no trouble moving lots

Because this is now, apparently, the standard article style of Jalopnik and the other sites here....stoke drama, snarkiness and distort facts to create a supposed hot take and hope it translates to site visits.  It is disappointing and pretty sad, TBH.  Over on Jezebel this is how nearly every post is written now.  Go

Michigan is really having a banner week in the news.

I developed a crush on a girl at my local wine shop and after several months,  asked her out.

Wow...WFT happened to Katy Perry....

It is becoming painfully apparent how bitter you and several other writers on this family of websites are that Bernie lost. I hear Breitbart is hiring.  You should consider applying...you’re playing right into their agenda with this sour grapes garbage.

Funny...if it weren’t so...well, racist.

That you’re still asking this question in 2020 is mind-numbingly ignorant and obtuse.

Actually, you’d be surprised how many kids appreciate and are into older music.  I’m 50, but a lot of the kids I know like everything from Floyd to Zep to Queen and lots of 80s stuff, including TFF

Fair point. I also think Brosnan was a good Bond but was given some really bad scripts. They jumped the shark with the invisible car.
