Great points. It's really bizarre how defensive people get when you suggest addressing the underlying issues of anxiety or depression that might be behind weight gain or money issues.

I'd say that national discussions were probably a lot better in the 70's than they are now. A national discussion today is two days of internet trolling about guns and then everyone getting back to pictures of cats.
