@Mad_Science: Well, it looks like the Cadillac ads are tied in when you click on the post. Spiffy, don't you think?

This modern interpretation of a Classic Bugatti is actually a lot more stylish that, oh say, a Bugatti Veyron. This is classically shaped, the Veyron is viscerally vulgar. This has sweeping lines, the Veyron has lines that end abruptly. This has wheels that blend in with the body, the Veyron has Ghettotastic…
Now that the question as to which Supercar s the fastest, can we now move onto something else? It's been talked about incessantly on here for months....
@Ray Wert: Ray, You had it correct when you said that there wasn't a good looking Buick in the last 2 Decades, and the cars pictured are all before 1989.
@Mad_Science: I thought it was only me....
Murilee,I don't know how you accomplished this. Each and every time I stare at a 6 hour trip across the New York State Thruway (from Buffalo through Albany) and then onto the Mass Turnpike, I just want to shoot myself. And I do this with an Altima! I set the Cruise to 74, and inevitably, within the first two hours, I…
What's even more bizarre is in Europe, almost all the trucks look like this:
Am I so screwed up that I'd rock each and every one of those 1977 cars? The Malibu? yes. The LTD II Brougham Hardtop? Yes. The Grand Marquis? Definitely Yes. Oh, but the daddy of them all, that 9 Passenger Squire Wagon, even in that light blue color.... wow. Of course, back in 1981, I was just making $18,000 per year,…
Sorry for the late posting, but I actually had the pleasure of driving one of these rare and wonderful beasts. It was a rather fetching bright red, black top, black woven vinyl interior. The noise of the V-8 was wonderful, but it was equipped with the Borg-Warner automatic, and there were a few problems with it, like…
@leavethegun-takethecannoli: So, I expect to see you at the Stafford Even in, holy $hit, 3 Weeks!
@Hoser Dave: Dave, you almost got it. take the period out from between the < and the IMG.
This is another way of creating demand where no such demand exists. Let's have a look at how we got into this mess in the first place.
@Mad_Science: You're all wrong. Mercedes actually makes this under contract for VW. It's called the Crafter in the UK, and utilizes a 5 Cylinder Diesel, with an optional automated manual transmission. The front clip is unique, but the rest of the van is one and the same as it's Mercedes Sprinter cousin.
Murilee, Thanks for posting this story. Ahh, I see that everyone has a witty comment, but here's the thing. This car was an absolute blast to drive (Yes, I was given the opportunity to drive this beast of a machine).
Time for a comment from the number one asshole on this site, me! (when it comes to commenting on overpriced, ridiculous, mid engined supercars)
My team's score stands at -170. How the hell did I come up with that you say? Easy:
The Artist is controversial. He started as a Graffiti Artist (most people would say thug) and is now one of the most popular modern artists. Looking at the slide show on the BBC, my favorite piece is a statuesque lion, holding a whip in his mouth, and a ringmasters outfit on the ground. Urp!
I would rock this little Datsun, if the price was in the vicinity of reality. $5,000 is just a tad too high, though in about 15 years it might not be.
@elwood: Sterling was just shut down, as other have said, and Isuzu Medium Duty is still here, only with the small NPR, NQR, and NRR small Cab Forwards. Mitsubishi Fuso have also stated they are getting out of the larger Medium Duty Market, to concentrate on small Cab Forwards. Ford is about to discontinue their…
@Alphamazing: All this coming from a Texan. Remember, this thing started out as a crap can racing series, not a way for the NASA, or SCCA drivers to compete with the trash. If you want to compete in this series, go find a Protege, Escort GT, or a 626.
