I は SHOCK!

@Salari: If you listen, Kenshiro actually says 「お前はもうおきている」 (You are already awake) instead of 「お前はもう死んでいる」 (You are already dead).

@RabidTurtl: Also the CIA, Fox, and the Jews.

@UsernameOfTheDead: There was a strict "no cookouts" clause in their contracts.

@mkzone13: Silicones are repeating Si-O chains with organic groups attached to the silicon, so that's dependent enough on Si that I can make the joke. Of course, I could also use oxygen, but that doesn't really have the same humorous connotations.

I guess Lara is no stranger to splurging on silicon.

@nonoche: I don't think you understand what alternate GUIs are. They aren't themes for the windows and the start menu, they actually replace the default Windows interface. Look at Stardock or Rainmeter for examples.

@nonoche: Then counter all my examples.

@nonoche: Replacement GUIs, custom components (including many high-end mice and keyboards), manual startup and registry editing, and other tweak type software. Not to mention that programs like registry cleaners, defragmenters, and virus scanners have many more free and reliable options on PC than on Mac.

@nonoche: Well, you don't for a PC, either, if you're willing to leave it Mac-level vanilla. My mother's never had a problem with her Toshiba Satellite, which is still fairly vanilla, aside from Office and Firefox. The problem starts when people realize "Oh, hey, this isn't a Mac, I can change things!" without

@wiggatron: The thing is, development costs are probably going to balloon for 3DS games. It outpaces the PSP in processing, graphics, and storage, and in order for developers to make games that stand out on a system like this, they're going to have PS2-era budgets at least. There's always shovelware, of course, but

Is there any word on the anticipated MSRP for 3DS games. I wonder if the casual market would still flock to $60 cartridges.

This sounds AWESOME. I can't wait to play this (I need to finish The Witcher first, though!).

@Victorioso: Since I go back and forth between college and home, I have to turn my desktop off every few months. And that's it. My laptop of course is on and off, since I take it everywhere. But there's no reason a PC can't be as stable as a Mac, you just have to be willing to learn what it needs.

@CarterF: "Insurgency" refers to a group of rebels (they are fighting the current Iraqi government) who are recognized as a belligerent party by an external state (that's US and others, in this case). So yes, they are insurgents.

@MrGOH: It's not a port, really, it's a sequel built for PS3 instead of iDon'tCare. Also, MAG handles pretty well with Move controls, imo. I don't really think motion controls (at least on the Wii and PS3) alienate hardcore games, either. The Wii has several games (Prime 3, for one) that are definitely hardcore and
