Er, isn't this kind of like the video-out and DS3 functions for the PSP Go? That's already basically a plug-and-play PS2.
I actually like this idea. I hope there's a similar accessory for the PSP2/phone.

@Mancomb Seepgood: I just treat the game like I'm an actual cop. The only "mission" is rid the city of crime. I don't need any more substance than that. Also, platformers are some of my favorite games, so a make-your-own platformer is kind of irresistible.

@Handsome Al: Heh, my roommate this year has a 360, so I finally bought my first Xbox game. Crackdown 1. Still my favorite 360 exclusive. The demo for the sequel doesn't seem to horrible, actually, I might get it when the price drops on used copies some more.
@Omega76: Check the bands on his arms to see one example. On the CGI one, they're actual polygons. On the PS3, it's just a texture map.
Probably one of the few times a compromise leaves both sides happy.
