Ha I like Charlie interacting with them. I should try that from now on. I’ve been switching to CNN because even though I was over CNN a long time ago I actually like Chris Cuomo. I find he asks the questions I wish people would ask when interviewing.

Ha, well they sometimes have guests I want to hear from. And I like Willie Geist? During the election it was whatever because I actually agreed that Trump’s chances were much better than others were saying, but now I almost never tune in.

He looks like that doodle of Conan but in real life.

I sometimes tune into Morning Joe when I’m getting ready in the morning and, if you thought it was bad during the election, it’s totally unwatchable now. Joe is basically a caricature of the Trump lapdog people claimed he was during the campaign. He’s always been obnoxious but at this point he just talks over people

It’s not insurance related but have you seen the commercials for the fucking single dose travel portions of viagra?! Like if we spent half the time and money worrying about women’s health as we do making sure men have convenient access to dick pills I can’t even imagine what it would be like.

So why didn’t they cover it on their own before the law? Did it just take the mandate to get them started and then they realized hey it saves us money too?

Right, but this time next year we will be paying that higher premium PLUS not getting birth control without a copay.

People seem to honestly think it’s a “handout” to get a benefit from insurance we pay for.

Thank you. And most of us pay a lot for those premiums too.

There are different levels of knowing your shit, no? When I say he knows his shit I mean, has been thinking about this stuff for decades and has a pretty good idea of what he thinks a good system would be and why. The man knows democratic socialism and the arguments for it (but like I said, is lacking when it comes to

I think he definitely knows his shit, but has a really hard time articulating it in a way that could win over people who don’t already agree with him/already know the arguments.

One thing I never understand about this argument is that, even if that were true, it was states defending their “rights” to own literal human beings and subjugate an entire race. So...?

World Market has a small curated collection but it’s very cute and affordable.

I thought his comments about her at the Golden Globes were creepy, especially that he insisted on calling her Emily (her real name). I got a weird controlling vibe from it all.

Of course. But our corporations and the politicians they sponsor have made it clear that they have no interest in building that system here, so.

I’ve not read the bill because it literally happened last night at 1 AM. So, that is the point of my comment asking my fellow politically interested readers of this fine website if they had any good write ups they had come across on this topic, because I was coming up empty attempting to find a summary this morning.

Thanks for highlighting this. I really want to hear what these guys have to say for themselves.

Yes, I understand this, but I am asking if anyone has seen an actual statement from the Senators in question stating this. I can put two and two together as to why, but I am interested to hear their own justifications for it.

Does anybody have any source with info about this Sanders/Klobuchar amendment that so many Dems voted against? (obviously this is not an unbiased source here but it’s the full list)

Keaton is also from Pittsburgh!!
