Incredible. I want ODST armour of this quality.
Sidenote: I'm on the "Tali"-only side of the debate.
I agree, also, the father stated they're not naming the girl after Tali'Zorah the character but rather the mother simply loved the name after playing the game. People indeed do not pick names out of nowhere, they are inspired from somewhere and sometimes it's just because you really like the name.
I suggest this article be re-titled considering the father himself says in the original posting that his daughter is not to be named "after" Tali'Zorah the character, but rather his wife liked the name after playing Mass Effect and so they are using that name because the mother really likes it.
Oh, sorry, there's worse, so this is okay! Right, I didn't realize if you can always find worse out there then what you're presently looking at is ok. *Sarcasm*
I don't care where on the Earth my "style of thought" has come from. I have the ability to think logically and not just as the product of my upbringing (which is North America is still very sexualized) and I can say that sexualizing children is not a good thing, anywhere, at any time, ever.
It's not.
Besides, it's not even censorship, it's cultural editing. It's called localizing a game to an area by changing things so that it is more suitable for the game's primary audience in a different country.
Because you want a nearly naked 15-year-old? Why?
So why is anyone complaining that they are covering up a nearly naked 15-year-old? This is a good thing.
It says 8+ right on the box. But I'm sure he enjoyed it.
I would imagine with thousands, err... millions of programs and policies in hundreds of branches, it would be pretty easy to say "Yeah... I'm not so sure we should be doing that but since we're doing it already fine just continue," than it would be to say "Let's start up a crazy spying program where we can reroute any…
I'm no Obama fan, but it doesn't seem like this is the kind of thing that was only just started during his presidency.
Though they could get information from someone in North America contacting overseas terrorist cells and getting instructions even if those instructions are coded. You'd be a fool to think every terrorist is hiding in a cave in the middle east. Consider how many foreign fighters from the UK and other countries have…
This is terrifying, the raw and cooked product. I'm seriously frightened. Maybe the idea as a joke would be semi-kind-of-not-really-funny, but to actually put that together and make it... and then... eat it... uhhh.... no. Somebody call the police.
Yeah, but you know. On the inside, you know what your character looks like. With story driven games I feel a lot more connected to my characters when I can customize them to my liking rather than a default setting designed by someone else.
I concur entirely. I expect it will be operatic, but so far they have showed very little to suggest it really is.
Maybe Nintendo just has little else to offer.
I was extremely frustrated by the lack of story and just how idiotic things got. Maybe I blinked way too many times in Borderlands 1. I knew there was stupid 8-year-old boy jokes and crap in the first one but the second Borderlands is just filled to the brim with stupid.
