Oh my god, you’re right WTF Kotaku.
Oh my god, you’re right WTF Kotaku.
I used to think that since the word has a shaming connotation in Japanese, then that should be the way it’s used here, and that otaku should be used with the same connotation as weeaboo or neckbeard.
I think it takes a page from Battletoads or Contra or older games where death isn’t really a deterrent it’s just a way to say “hey you messed up try again”. I don’t know when death in video games has somehow become this rage inducing thing, instead of a way to tell you that a mistake was made and to try again. There…
You’re not remotely wrong about the fact of misogyny toward women who stream in general, but the controversy being discussed here is focused on the “hot tub” aspect of things, which... frankly comes across as shameless patriarchal pandering to the male gaze for profit, which is toxic in its own way.
I don’t understand why anyone even cares this much. Sex has always sold. People need to find something more useful to do with their lives, like volunteer at a hospital or shelter, they would be 100% more effective in society as a whole, than making whiny shit-posts on the internet.
Also I wanted to mention I never used the word “theft”. It is a very different word than stolen. You can absolutely steal concepts and ideas. It is literally to pass off an idea as one’s own.
“If it were, we’d never have more than one entry in a single genre, we wouldn’t have homages or spiritual successors, we…
Well Riot disagrees, they chase after anyone and everyone who attempts to make a “clone” even after they “cloned” DOTA. So go argue with them. They’ve opened up many many lawsuits against companies and studios and app makers, then they turn around and get “inspiration” from Blizzard.
Man I loved this game. One of the biggest problems with it was how repetitive the grind was, while this wasn’t new at the time, it just took so long to get to interesting parts of the game without enough bread crumbs. There also wasn’t a clear way to navigate the story. But once you figured it out, or read a guide the…
The “genre” didn’t exist previously, and their early beta and alpha versions quite literally had the same characters with the same abilities and the exact same item builds, same map, and no lore backing it, they were just named something different, or they gender bent a couple characters.
There was a huge hooplah about…
This is exactly how things are still done. Especially if you run Linux or if you’re digging up games that have crappy old PC ports like Shogo Mobile Armor Division.
There is. There are avenues to pursue things like this for archival purposes. But usually those fall on properties that are no longer owned by anyone anymore.
Again though, there are other ways to pursue this aside from being a total dick, like coming up with licenses and agreements for them to pursue. But Riot doesn’t…
I remember watching one of those alien shows with my dad. And when one of the aerial shots poppoed up he shouted. “Oh that’s the radar range I work at a few times a week!”
I always had cheap keyboards and just threw them in the bath tub. Took them out and took it apart to dry it.
I mean people go to these places to fit in and be around folks they feel comfortable with, and if someone is going to mess up that vibe, I get the apprehension.
I didn't see the design just the text is my point.
I don't actually see a product page for it. I've searched and I don't see what he's talking about. I also don't see the mount adapter anywhere. That power plug for the monitor is CRZAY close to the mounting point, and this monitor isn't exactly light.
There is no adapter for it yet however. That’s the point. Their current adapters don’t work for that monitor.
The monitor isn’t VESA compatible. I don’t think any of Apple’s monitors are. Their iMac Pro VESA adapter which is literally just a plate, is 70 bucks, and also doesn’t work with this monitor.
Goddammit! 2chan keeps fucking getting out. Seriously though:
My kids were like “we want to upload videos”
Hell I don’t fit in there, as a white metro-dude I would get my ass kicked. Rednecks and redneck bars are scary AF man. They will fuck your shit up without warning. At least when I walk into the wrong bar in LA I get a reasonable “This place ain’t for you, white boy” warning, and people giggling at me.
