Modern take on what? I don’t understand what you think Shenmue 3 is. Nor would I think gratitude is a good enough reason. Games like Shenmue that employ its gameplay elements are coming out now. Yakuza and Uncharted are two that come to mind.

It’s not nostalgia. The FFVII remake is nostalgia. Shenmue was never finished, the story they are making for III is the final chapter in the Shenmue story. How can part of a story that’s never been told be nostalgia?

well done

Not really, Shenmue is a really important game. It basically paved the way, tech, engine, and game design for the entire Yakuza franchise, the Yakuza franchise has since taken that formula and refined it into some of the most compelling gameplay/story telling the gaming world has seen. Ques have been taken from

And a great evening to you kind sir from Boston. :)

I don’t think white pasta is great for you either, regardless, before jumping into any diet I would talk to my doctor.

That’s not healthy either. Do you live a sedentary life? I mean I’m not saying a plate of pasta every day of every hour is great for you(or even one meal at Macaroni Grill because that’s like 3-5 servings of pasta per order), but you pretty much have no accessible energy stores. You have very little energy to even

I’ve been to NYC I don’t know if it’s fast as much as just nasty. I’ve also been to Taipei which is like being an ant stuffed inside sweaty shirt with a billion other ants. Haven’t been to London yet though.

Fallout 4. Boston Minecraft. “

Aaaaand it’s pretty much already funded.

That looks terrible for rougher roads or auto cross applications.

I’ve lived in LA and it’s a bit more fast than even that. It’s like a big city on crack. Some folks are into that and live down there in it, but it’s just not for me. I commute 20-30 min into work, then go home right after. Around where I live you can actually bike around without hitting people and get all your chores

I mean, don’t get me wrong Tokyo is nice, people are decently friendly and accommodating everywhere here, but for me at least it’s just too much, it’s too quick, and there is too much going on. The “country side” of Japan is still comparable to a Medium-Large sized city in the UK or the US. As Tim mentioned above

Moving in the or being in the game and “gameplay” aren’t the same thing. Gameplay involves some kind of mechanic or rule set or challenge with an objective aside from go from point A to B. I would go as far as to argue that in WoW running on foot IS gameplay, as the challenge can be avoiding monsters, sneaking past

How so?

How is it gameplay? You can’t fight on the back of a free flying mount ever, you can’t chat with NPCs you can’t do anything on the back of a flying mount aside from go from A to B and cheese mobs/players. Exploration is gameplay sure, but you don’t need a flying mount for that, and flying mounts are counter inuitive

It’s not a way to play.Flying mounts have no gameplay associate with them.

Man you need to get the fuck out of central Tokyo, seriously, all of us old fucks that don’t want to deal with all that shit every damn day are out in suburban places like Chofu, and to be fair a lot of the complaints about entertainment stand strongly in America as well, we have some pretty shitty TV and Comedy, the

Believe me, Akiba and Shibuya are weird to the rest of Japan as well.

I don’t think flying is a way to play. It’s a method of transport in the game, to avoid playing some aspects of said game, not a way to actually play the game.
