This kinda says a lot for dude #2.

Also. *You're.
You are smart. Keep living.
Ha. Thanks. I appreciate it. It's hard to convey harmless humor, without it being viewed as trolling. Whenever I throw something like this out there, I usually get a few angry replies, but rarely a "that was funny" kinda reply.
I mean, maybe. You never know. They could be since they know the dewey decimal system. That's kinda like science.
Stupid NASA. You know space stuff, but that's probably it. Leave history to the other scientists who study that type of stuff, like the biologists and librarians or whatever.
I too was (and still am) lost on the new MySpace. After seeing that sizzle reel they put out a while back, I was genuinely excited. I even defended it's promise to a few co-workers. I feel dumb now.

That guy looks like drugs, personified.
I'm with ya. I imagined it as a girl too (and I'm a guy).
I've actually been wearing the Fuelband since Day 1. I was able to get in on the first batch, and have been using it ever since. Overall, I would give this product a B- (at best). I don't find that it is super accurate, which is clearly a problem when trying to calculate a workout. By this, I mean it doesn't seems to…
I feel like that video wasn't designers being preachy, but rather a content series that (for this episode) decided to focus on design. I have seen people get long winded about the topic, simply to hear themselves talk. In that situation, I too, find it annoying.
I wouldn't compare it to math in terms of it's size and usefulness. Clearly, design isn't a universal truth. My comparison is: Both Math and Design are disciplines that most people don't know about, are sometimes afraid of, and can be quick to write off. But if you take the time to learn about it's importance, the…
As a professional Graphic Designer (someone who majored in graphic design in college, and makes a living doing it), I applaud this video. I always enjoy seeing Graphic Design presented in a serious context, and discussed outside of the design world. For a lot of people/companies, design is the first thing they want…
Gliding is still falling (right? I don't know, I'm asking). I feel like your probably correct with gliding being a form of "flying". Though I think it's considered more of a soaring than actual flight. Flight meaning you generate thrust to counter the effects of gravity. What I was originally going for was non-winged…
I have a buddy who skydives, and he describes it as "the closest thing to flying". Isn't it the exact opposite of flying?
How would this fair with medium load tasks (Photoshop for web, Aperture, Lite 3D stuff etc.)? I have a dying Mac Pro at home that I'm looking to replace, but I also have a brand new Mac Pro at work that I spend the majority of my time on. I want something for when I need to work at home, but I don't want to drop a ton…
+1 to you.
"Ho Hos bursted onto the scene in 1999."
I've had that happen. I also thought it looked cool. A restart corrected it.
