I knew a guy in 2006 who had a Harley and Busa, the Busa was by far his favorite for long distance.

your house will probably depreciate more anyway.
yeah just a matter of time before they’re gonna run over the wrong dude on a bike.
Not 24 hours. You probably have time for two full charges during the day or about 1/2 their daily mileage on EV. Reality is the back of the volt is pretty tight for adults.
I think it comes down to people don’t want to spend a bunch of money and feel stupid. I’d feel pretty stupid explaining that we can’t take my sedan because it only has 4 seats, but this isn’t everyone’s situation and enough people didn’t care for this car to be a success.
yeah but in general 4 seat sedans are a niche product. Even Porsche added a bench to the panamera.
I said somewhere else that it really says a lot that you never see Volt taxis.
Autopilot currently requires input every 20-30 seconds or so by applying torque to the wheel. Maybe he fell asleep in just the right position to fool the system but I’ll be interested to see what Tesla comes back with.
Not quite a practical. Notice how you never see a volt taxi.
I used to drive the grande C-Max often as part of a car share program and it’s a great car but Ford made the right call for the NA market here.
Now the S-Max is another story. Y U NO GIVE ME SEXY MPV?!!
I guess the answer is probably the slow selling flex. Which would also make a good PHEV using the fusion energi…
nope in the interior there. Quality yes, but a 4 seat sedan is really going to limit your market (despite how seldom people actually use the center seat)
The original sin of the Volt is that T shaped pack. Putting the battery under the floor would’ve made Pinocchio a real boy.
Why do all the green cars need to be econoboxes?
sadly almost none of this was addressed in the second generation (which I was super excited about). Although they did add useless center seat position. and like 10 more miles of EV range.
Never buy a house on a hill in California. Every time you forget to turn your wheels when parked it’ll cost you $59.
yeah it was better in the old one where the grill would split. Much more hidden and probably less likely to get damaged in a fender bender.
this car usses CCS charging stations.
Checkout plugshare.com to find chargers.
especially the afformentioned smoothness is a big plus in a compact car.
Typically these are going to be the least torquey and most raucous engines so going EV really transforms the experience for the better.
rear captains chairs that swivel.
yeah last weekend I had a Silverado to do some trips to the dump. It’s impressive how much they pack in a work truck these days but I’d never spend the 40k+ that they ask for a loaded one after that.
Looking at the RT1 they’re in danger of having their clocks cleaned by sticking to ICE trucks as well.
