I think lots of people do the hat/dress up thing out side the Royal Enclosure, but I thought the same thing about the apple/cherry facinator.

I always said this site was an education, things don't work quite the same way in the UK, for decades the right left divide seemed only about nationalisation vs privatisation and union rights. Social issues didn't come into it so much as religion has not played a big part in politics over here for while.

I saw this advert for the first time last night, and my feelings about it were mixed. The one I saw had women standing on a scale and instead of a number it read 'great' or 'fabulous.' I thought, that's quite nice actually, removing the fixation on a weight and instead on how you feel.
