You should absolutely tell your Grandma. One potentially odd conversation is worth getting her off of some meds - sometimes older people can be on a LOT of pills.

What exactly would be "in a good way?"

That sounded a lot less jokey than I meant for it to. I do respect Benevolent_Dictatrix, in spite of her incredibly misguided anti-Corgi bias.

Dammit, why can we not heart people??

Wow. I had no idea that Charlie Sheen read Jezebel or that he was Team Pug.

Piffle. Science tells us that Corgis use their large batlike ears to catch minute amounts of cuteness wafting through the air and channel it to their ridiculously cute grins. It's an evolutionary fact.

Alas, it is fake. I know, I know, my heart is also breaking.

Madam, I respond with a hearty "Yo mama."

Star Trek Exhibit A in defense of the hotness of bald men.

Oh, man, I had already thought of Patrick but had forgotten about Avery. To mix my fandoms, I'll be in my bunk...

Preach it, sister.

Always happy to terrorize my fellow players.

My current online D&D campaign has sphinxes who keep setting us riddles and trying to kill us. Every time we encounter the jerkasses our DM puts this picture up. Then we answer their question wrong and have to fight for our lives.

If by "adorable" you mean "horrifying" and "gremlin" you mean "perversion of nature."

Joss Whedon fans, you know how you have to vote. Werewolves all the way!

Sparkle.Motion, you are correct that a "special" class is made as normal as possible. I believe that by default that tells us that "as normal as possible" is the goal, which is as it should be if we're preparing these kids to live in the "normal" world. I believe that's important for the girl with the peanut allergy

As the parent of a child who recently had to move from a mainstream class to a "special" one I can tell you that I'd much rather try to give my child a normal life.

I'd hope those parents could view this as an opportunity to for their children to learn about responsibility, consequences, consideration, and disability. Maybe those aren't in the official curriculum, but in some ways they're vastly more important to one's success in life.

Your comment isn't mean so please do not think I'm speaking about you, but I wish that a portion of the vitriol on the internet were directed at the producers, who apparently were the ones who presented her with two songs, "Friday" and one about adult love which she said she didn't know enough about. She didn't write
