I think sanctuary cities should counteroffer with a refusal to pay any taxes...starting with the ones that fund this ham monster of a Congressman’s salary. Let’s see how the Trunp-loving rural areas of Georgia do when the cities start keeping funds to themselves (and I say this as someone who lives in farm country).

If this is something you are willing to hear from me in person please call, or send me a note and I’ll call you.

I don’t think that really matters. Also Martin has confirmed that Beric Dondarion is basically a fire wight. I assume that the same would apply for Jon.

I imagine seeing your one sister turned into a stone cold killing machine, and your last remaining brother is totally spaced psychic (who immediately reminds you of your rape) is pretty upsetting.

Yup, she was considered the best fighter after The Mountain, The Hound, and Jaime Lannister — and she’s bested both The Hound and Jaime (and Jaime acknowledged she was better than him, even pre handchopping). And, Arya just took on who is now the second best fighter in Westeros — and the best non-zombie one.

“Jesus Christ. I’ve been mentally tortured by two different people, raped, and the best relationship I’ve had has been with Tyrion Lannister who I hated but at least he wasn’t just the worst....and -I’m- the one with the least PTSD? What the fuck is wrong with you people? How am -I- the sane one here?”

I loved how partway through the sparring, Brienne realized Arya could kill her, and kicked her into the dirt and then became deadly serious — I also loved the mutual respect between them — warrior women both.

That’s sort of what I’m getting at though. This was just a small (implied the rear part of) area of the train going all the way to KL so at worst it’s half a day’s rations gone up.

The last person Sansa saw with a gleaming light in their eye at the prospect of murder was Ramsay, so....yeah, she’s probably worried for Arya as a whole.

That fight was really perfectly choreographed. Brienne hacking away like a typical Westerosi knight, Arya using her dancing lessons and size/speed/agility, and both of their movements looked totally genuine. Just A+ choreography

No, I think it’s much more likely Sansa is realizing everyone still alive in her family is incredibly damaged, and the extent is even worse than she feared. And since she’s in charge/having the experience to recognize damage, she’s upset and afraid for how she can fix or handle it going forward.

I interpreted Sansa’s reaction as: “Hmmm, she’s really deadly. Maybe she actually does have a list of people she’s going to kill. Hmmm....she also said most of the people on the list are already dead... hmmmm... I wonder if she’s a psychopath these days.”

I read it more as impassive than upset. Everyone who keeps saying how wooden Sansa seems forgets that she has not been able to show any real emotion for YEARS. At KL, she was being held captive by her father’s murderers and had to pretend to love Joffrey of all people. She’s been around Littlefinger for ages, and has

I think she’s upset, but not necessarily pissed. I think there were a couple of different/interacting things happening there.

I was screaming YAS QUEEN throughout the sparring scene.

TV scale at work I think. I took it as that was the food they seized from highgarden and surrounding areas. What dany did was royally screw Cerisei: She got the gold, but dany destroyed all the food. A city runs more on food then gold.

YOU’VE COME A LONG WAY ARYA!!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that look was him super sad about the poor horses. Say what you will about Jaime, deep down underneath I think he’s not such a terrible guy.

the Iron Bank guy would not commit their support of Cersei’s war until their repayment made it to the Iron Bank, which as we know from the epic end scene, it did NOT.

I would not be surprised. I went in June and had the BEST time but it’s a *very* physical show. The guys are CUT but more importantly exceptionally good dancers and the dancing is core. I could see chipped teeth. I could see pulling muscles, especially if they pick up a girl that looks light but is... not so light.
