He’s promising his fans the sun, the moon, the stars, free and instantly:

But not really;

Certainly not unique. Tribalism is omnipresent in humanity. Disappoints me to see it on such a scale though (one thing to be more concerned with citizens of your country - another to treat one citizen’s life as being worth 100 or even 1000 foreigners’ lives).

Seriously. As someone who’s worked with Syrian refugee kids, this sounds exactly like what I’ve heard children that age express.

If it was some western mother sending tweets from her child’s perspective about waiting for Santa Clause or something else banal no one would bat an eye, but because people don’t want to comprehend the suffering this child is going through they’ll try and find any reason to dismiss the source.

Holy shit people. Its run first hide second and only fight back if you have no other choice.

No, but guns help. Thanks for playing.

It’s the appropriate protocol. You run if you can. If you can’t run, you hide. If you can’t run or hide, fight.

I’m seeing some criticism of the fight part of the message. It’s a list of priorities. Run if you can, hide if you can’t, and fight if you’re found. The truth is that if an active shooter finds you and you don’t fight you’ll die anyway. It doesn’t mean to proactively go out and play Yosemite Sam trying to hunt down

Soooooooo. Im here. Thankfully I am on South Campus and the shooting is on north campus. And we have security guards on our first floor. Shooting happened in Watts hall, shooter now appears to be in a parking garage on Lane and Tuttle.

I’m pretty sure the common thread here is marijuana. The employees got freaked out by a customer and hid in the back: high. Dude goes to CVS in the middle of the night looking for cheese and spends 45 minutes wandering around the store: high.

Hey, I can somehow lose my slow-moving 68yo mother in the smallest of CVS stores.

Criticism isn’t censorship. That’s a pretty basic distinction, man.

I took the “lawyer” thing as a joke.

I’m going to miss America.

I’m going to miss having a reliable, stable President.

Does Christie ever do like ... his actual job of governing New Jersey?

i get the snark, but really, for women of faith, this is a huge deal to them. Right or wrong, they feel like they’ve sinned and need forgiveness. This is a good thing. This is one of those moments where we can step out of our bubble a little bit and understand the progress that this is for faithful Catholics.

I’m just going to let the great President Meyer (great compared to Trump) say what needs to be said.
