also very easy to ‘get’ concepts. it’s like they start with the metaphor and work backwards now.

You could also just like, pay your writers and give them fair deals? But I guess delaying all your massive movies makes sense, too.
How about concerts are too expensive and people who go to them don’t want to spend money on overpriced refreshments?
Went to a concert a few weekends ago. One 16oz white claw was 17 dollars. Beer was no better at 18-19 dollars for one 16oz. That can’t be the reason though.
Prowler in the 616 is also sometimes Spider-Man. And his name is Hobie Brown. So Spider-Punk is a variant Prowler and a variant Spider-Man just like Miles is.
My one sticking point with the movie is I feel like most Peters wouldn’t side with Miguel on this one, and having my favorite Peter (Spectacular) represent their voice hurts. Peter is the guy who says “No One Dies”. That’s someone who would fight fate itself to save anyone and everyone.
A 14yr old kid did that trailer?! That is just amazing work! It puts 14yr old me to shame, when I was that age I was just hanging around with friends and playing video games. Sometimes I really wish I had even an ounce of artistic talent lol.
That’s a shame, you missed Luca, an underrated Studi-Ghibli-esque delight.
Simple solution: Rent a vacant space in a strip mall somewhere in Alabama and call it Space Command HQ. Set up comms to forward to a facility in Colorado.
My mother loves me to death. She would also never, EVER help me cover up a murder I committed.
If you are going to do Pretty In Pink, you have to do the superior Valley Girl (with Nick Cage!).
That sound you hear is members of my generation screaming about the omission of 'The Lost Boys.'
As others have mentioned, the two most glaring omissions from this list are The Blues Brothers (a top-5 candidate) and Grosse Pointe Blank (probably not top-10, but certainly in the top-30).
No Grosse Pointe Blank, Dazed and Confused, or Valley Girl?
As a runner up, I’d include The Blues Brothers: “Shake a Tail Feather”, “Think”, “Minnie the Moocher”, “Jailhouse Rock”.....
Decent list, but I’d have swapped out a number of those for Say Anything, Risky Business, 24 Hour Party People, He Got Game, The Crow, Graffiti Bridge, Donnie Darko, Vanilla Sky, The Lost Boys, Juice, Angus, Heat, Straight Outta Compton, Once, and Stealing Beauty.
I remember saturn no haggle pricing split people into the hate it or love it camps. Bros that thought that they would always be able to negotiate a better price hated it. Others liked it because they did not pay more because they did not look like the salesman at the dealership.
This is wonderful. They really went all out.
To be fair, in 2020 their “Convention” exclusives were pretty easy to get and I’m hopeful they will keep that sales model going forward. Basically, they sold a normal convention size allotment for almost immediate shipping and then opened pre-orders for a second run a few months later. I don’t think Hasbro has…
The photographer nailed this. Looks like lots of good articulation and personality.
