I also own a newer Mazda 3 5 door as my DD. And i can safely say that as a DD it is FAR more enjoyable than the Civic or Corolla. It also looks 9273739.7x better than the 2 combined. The only other car I'd put near it would be the Elantra GT..
Actually it was exactly 2.5 seconds! After 10 laps that's 25 seconds.! So I'd ding him on not being precise as well as characterizing it as close. I would totally agree if he had said, "the Z/28 is fast on the track but still gets it's ass handed to it, as expected, by the GT3".
The Porsche's acceleration numbers are wild. 3.1 seconds 0-60 with rwd and less than 500hp? that's absolutely nuts.
