Right, it’s extremely complex. What about trans women who started hormones at puberty who never developed that bone structure? There are plenty of trans women who fall into average statistics in many categories for women.

But there are also a not insignificant number of us who are also significantly outside the typical

Ermm...
Do you have more evidence of the transphobia than her stating (correctly) that Fallon Fox has an advantageous bone structure?
I’m trans, I’m an athlete, I get why cis women wouldn’t want to fight me when I have a wingspan and reach longer than damn near everyone who would be in my weight class.

It’s a complex as

What step further?  He said “it’s all done now” meaning, the interview, so he can check it off the bucket list.

It wasn’t a sexual comment.

Watch it again, outrage police. He was referring to being interviewed by her. Nothing there suggested he was being inappropriate. Nothing except the shit starter who wrote the article and then you, of course.

Get the fuck outta here with this bullshit and grow a sense of humor.

I don’t even see it as being about her personally. I figured he meant he was finished with everything except press. Meaning ‘you’ more generally, as in ‘you, the press.’ I do think the phrasing was purposely to allow possible personal interpretation, but I don’t find it creepy in the least. It’s like if I’m at a

Honestly, I’m flexing all over the place here and I still can’t make that remark resemble a come-on. To my mind, he clearly meant “just this interview with you”. I have read this in all kinds of voices in my wee head, but I can’t make it seem vulgar or creepy. Sorry, Jezebel. I think you might be off on this one!

This was my immediate takeaway. I’m at work, so I can’t watch a video, but from the description, it only sounds sexual if you’re trying to make it sexual.

Yeah, it was clearly in reference to the interview. This shouldn’t be a thing. It’s kinda depressing that people are so hot for the take-down that they will totally disregard, like, basic syntax.

My thoughts as well. Although he probably could’ve worded differently. I think his intent wasn’t to be inappropriate, but to flatter.

RE: Jim Carrey

Why do you insist this was a sexual remark. Clearly the question was about his career and his reply was clearly referring to being interviewed by her. He was being funny, not creepy. What’s wrong with you to write this article, clearly the author has it in for Cary given the title puts him down as a Supporting Actor

Now playing

I couldn’t get that video about Laura Dern to play so here is a better version. It’s pretty funny, just all the gay moments from films and just all of Laura Dern.

I’m really glad Luke Evans is out again, remember when his agent/or whatever tried to put him back in the closet? That was so regressive and just sad.

Gustin’s Barry was pretty blatantly the Geoff Johns Barry Allen (who in turn was basically just Barry with Wally's far more likable personality)

Oh, Miller’s Barry Allen is definitely more Wally West than Barry Allen.

It’s the natural endpoint of this obsessive bugbear that progressives have with representative casting.  Whitewashing is one thing, but they’ve conflated that with thinking every actor needs to bring an authentic experience to their role, or it’s literally an offense to society.

The issue isn’t so much that it’s a difficult puzzle to solve.  It’s that it shouldn’t have ever been a puzzle in the first place, because there’s no reward for solving it.
