People watch the show because it’s funny. The learning from diverse opinions is a nice touch. But putting the onus on them as an educational show is like holding the Daily Show to the same standards as The NY Times.

Back then, I don’t believe that’s what was meant by “...and rare.”  It was that abortion is rare because birth control is excellent and freely available, sex ed is available to all, and only those who want to be pregnant become pregnant.  No negatives attached to it.

I also think abortions should be rare, but in my world they are rare because everyone has access to free or very low cost, effective pregnancy prevention, and has age appropriate comprehensive sex education from preschool through high school.
