You're assuming that the replica scarf and the t-shirt both manufacture and sell for the same cost (not true — I've seen the replicas go on etsy for $150) and that each fan will by a finite number of items in the same time period. But hardcore fans will pay more, buy more and buy for longer than casual fans.
