Hey, isn’t it great that Alaska has a subsidized transportation system for politicians who hate government subsidies? I wonder how Senator Reinbold voted on funding for the Alaska Marine Highway before a private transportation company banned her for not following their procedures.

It’s sad that Burns had his career cut short by cancer. He was competing up to the point he was diagnosed, and then he died in about a year’s time :(

This is a true moment of stupidity. This has gotta be my peak. I hope.

Richard Burns was a quality wheelman :’(

I fill up my teakettle with water from a Brita/Pur filter to eliminate scale. *Kettle is only used for heating water, not with teabags inside. Ew, teabags. And when I get sick of the tea buildup in my pot and strainer, I’ll soak everything in 50/50 bleach and water and then soak and rinse thoroughly. Bleach hates your

Eventually I would hope enough electric tractor units would be on the road that trailer manufacturers would consider adding motor units with regen braking. Then you would truly have road trains.

I appreciate your stats, but I think you didn’t have the right set of stats.
Dude was saying stuff about more police being killed by Black males versus ‘unjustified killings’ of Black males by police officers. ‘Unjustified killings’ by police is such a loaded term that I can’t even try to define it. A pillar of the BLM

The wheel traveling against traffic, left to right, diagonally across the lane. Closing speed is going to be much higher than a stationary object. The driver sees the tire and tries to evade to the right, but it’s a tough choice. Evading to the left would have saved him, but there’s motorcycle-only things to consider:

I really love Ken Saito’s writing and photography. It’s always a good day when one of his articles shows up!

Kia Stinger? I’m somewhat serious. In the shop with Germanic electronic glitches isn’t too practical. -shrugs-

For god’s sake, they experiment on Ladas. Do you think they’d do something fancy like running different oil weights? They wanted to know what would congealed oil do to an engine, and that’s what they accomplished!

I read the article earlier today before I left for work, and although I fully support the car clubs in having fun for a couple to few hours, I’m having wypipo conflicts of interest going on in my head. Let me explain.

I haven’t seen the show (I don’t watch much). But the actress was an extra who represented a younger version (flashback?) of an elderly character. It would be logical to color hair, skin tone, to match the established character better. If the elderly character is in more scenes, then the time in makeup is less for the

Oh, I figure it did. Article is behind a paywall, but the title is spot on. Reactionary/conservative forces generally hinder growth and development. I mean, slavery was propping up an outdated Southern economy because it kept the rich safely ‘rich’ for the foreseeable future. All the structures and laws and such to

The problem with putting on fees and taxes on the larger trucks, is that it’s regressive. Lower income people will feel that hit harder, and they might need that pickup for business or living out in the boonies, and also the only transportation for their families. I’d love to see the tax deduction for 6000+ lbs

Ugh, you can’t win! Using a truck for truck things and an EV for running errands. I commend you for trying to use the right tool for the job.

Seth Jahn couldn’t even get his flags right. Although I figure we know which flag flies in his heart.

Remember, KE = 1/2 mv^2... and all that KE needs to go somewhere when you crash. so that’s like 9x the KE that needs to be dissipated in a 45mph crash :O

Will that side window roll down far enough to get to the mailbox? And how does it slide out of the way?

I forget, but are there curbside mailboxes in Canuckistan? I’d see little problem using one of those or a Transit Connect (the current Canada Post vehicle, right?) if all Canadian mail-people had to walk neighborhoods because the postal boxes are located by the front doors. Curbside mailboxes is what creates the need
