This would be good protection for certain motorcycle accident types and certain stages in the accident. There are a couple incidents where the airbag wouldn’t work, at least not at first, because the rider is still attached to the bike during the first impact. Lowsiding where the bike lands on you (your leg) at first

My 2006 Matrix AWD averages 23-24 mpg :( Not enough highway driving to help my numbers.

Unfortunately, your comment will probably get buried, but I think you are very correct. I want to give it many stars.

I’ll fly on one. Boeing needs to kick it into gear and design a new short haul narrow body ASAP now that the 737 MAX is back in operation. Airbus gave them a kick with the neo configuration, and Boeing wasn’t ready to design a new aircraft. But, the best thing to do is move on and clean sheet whatever comes next.

I’m good with this reasoning. Dude (and of not a dude, please make appropriate gender changes) works on aircraft. He knows better than us if something is off, once it is brought to his attention. All mechanical systems are go. Scuttlebutt about proper fixes to MCAS and software are go. Planktron is okay with grabbing

This. Is. Great.

It’s so not for you. A manual Copen would have you snaking your right arm under your right knee just to shift (exaggerating here).

I’m wishing for the surprised Pikachu face on that Anna whatever when all her proceeds gets confiscated.

All that writer needs to do is to put in a claim against the proceeds. And encourage all the other defrauded people to do so as well.

Now playing

You got chicken? Dude got what was coming to him.

Poor service animal.

This infuriates me. Her job is to drive racing cars fast. Other than how her physical attributes work towards helping her drive faster, it’s shameful that a potential sponsor would ask if she would pose with minimal clothing. If her personality or charisma could help the sponsorship, yes, put her in front of a camera

I dislike the slideshow as well, but for this purpose, I have a hard time seeing a better way to show the content. I wouldn’t mind a long post, but that might not be optimal for loading.
But... most GMG slideshows are steaming piles of dung.

If you live in a rental or a more sizeable city, you may not have the infrastructure to recharge a car at home. If the hydrogen is not produced by nat gas reformation or hydrolysis powered by fossil fuels, then you can still have a low emissions vehicle, same as an EV. And if hydrogen fueling infrastructure is built

Oh true! I knew the Mirai was a FC vehicle from past knowledge. Yep all the cost reductions are in powertrain and hydrogen storage.  And maybe decontenting so that the car is not aspirational, but everyday, seeing as the overall price may have dropped to hit a different buyer segment.

And he works a jobby-job so he isn’t taking off whenever he wants. He picks a few sights to see and hikes over the weekend and aims for every obscure transportation item and viewpoint, and rolls back in with several hundred miles on the odo. I think most of northern New England is petitioning him to become a permanent

That’s what I thought. I’m American. I think having to deal with sales tax versus out the door price is just dumb.

I have members of my family who are notorious for Mad-Max style road trips. I’m not the worst one, but the only thing that keeps me from doing 8-10 hour drives eating up the highway is the lack of vacation time. My brother puts on about 30k+ miles a year in mostly exploration driving.

Is the VAT included in the price or added on top? I always thought it was cheating not to list things according to pre-tax prices in a country.

I’m not sure about the my take, but I think the cost of an automotive fuel cell stack and hydrogen storage has room to fall a good percentage. Along with hybrid and EV technology, a new generation usually brings with it cost reductions in manufacturing that outweighs the increased cost of making a car do “more”.
